5 Years Ago we Moved from Dartford to Northfleet

Fixmart had been at the same premises in The Brent for over 30 years initially occupying one small L shaped building which was split into warehouse and offices.  Steadily the business grew and at the same time available space diminished despite being spread over three small buildings on the site, one of which became the warehouse.

In the latter years there, several shelters were put up flanking the small customer car park and also to the rear of the warehouse to take the ever increasing quantity of metal channel and cable containment being sold.

Deliveries were difficult due to access down a driveway and the small area to manoeuver in near the buildings.

The move made a huge difference. From around 5000 sq ft at Dartford to 22000 sq ft here, plus a large car park in which all the staff can park with a warehouse that has the height to be able to accommodate unloading of trucks in the dry if necessary.

The number of staff has increased across the company and a dedicated Customer Service team has been developed to provide first class service to customers. More racking was installed in 2016 to take more stock and product ranges.
