Flat End Mill
Flat end mill is the most popular end mill for our customers, of which 2-flute, 3-flute, 4-flute, and 6-flute are very common. The less the flute number, the smoother the chip removal, and the more the flute number, the more precise the processing, the commonly used flat end milling cutter models are:

The ball nose end mill has the best effect on the machining curved surface, but the chip discharge performance is poor because of the small chip holding groove at the tip.
Corner Radius End Mill
Corner radius end mill is used for machining the corner R and periodic feeding. In periodic feed machining, even if R is small, it can also be used for end mills with a large diameter for efficient machining.
When the workpiece is large, the narrow concave area is less, the surface change is small, the relatively flat area is suitable for the corner radius end mill, and the narrow concave area is suitable for the ball nose end mill.
